Local and family cuisine
We will welcome you after your day filled with Alpine memories in our bar with warm Savoyard wood paneling alongside the colors of chocolate and high mountain glaciers. You will be able to talk about your exploits, your discoveries, your wonders with friends, family with a refreshing drink or an invigorating hot drink.
Then after a good relaxing shower, you can go down and enjoy our small living room, our fireplace and taste the family and traditional cuisine cooked with fresh products from local agriculture. We will welcome you in our beautiful dining room where the big fireplace of the “Adray” hotel stands. During the week, we will not forget to make you enjoy the specialties of our Savoy mountains.
People with reduced mobility are welcomed with all the facilities it needs.
Our 90 m2 restaurant, completely renovated for winter 2013/2014, is decorated in the colors of our mountains. We wanted you to be able to share a pleasant moment in a warm and cozy atmosphere while tasting the dishes that our chef will have simmered with passion. You can dream while contemplating the mesmerizing fire of our large Savoyard fireplace.
For our guests, we offer different formulas:
The breakfast formula (BB)
The number of breakfasts will correspond to the number of nights you have booked.
It’s a buffet breakfast with:
- traditional hot drinks (coffee, tea, milk),
- the Orange juice,
- the various breads lovingly made by the village baker that you can taste either fresh or toasted,
- local cheeses like Tome de Savoie or Beaufort made in our mountain pastures from the milk of cows from our villages,
Breakfasts are served between 07:30 and 09:30.
The half board formula (HB)
The number of breakfasts and dinners will correspond to the number of nights you have reserved.
Breakfasts, as mentioned above, are served buffet style from 07:30 to 09:30. Dinners are served at the table. You will have the choice between 2 starters, 2 dishes, 2 desserts. We will ask you to choose your menu the day before for the next day.
The cuisine that the chef offers is family, local cuisine, made with the love of fresh products and with respect for the environment. Our products come as far as possible from our local producers. We will suggest you discovering or rediscovering forgotten products, products from the different regions of France and Navarre:
- Bearn garbure,
- duck breast with Guérande salt,
- real beef bourguignon oxtail,
- veal shank osso bucco and baby carrots in white wine,
- old-fashioned veal stew,
- the mountain lamb shank with white wine,
- the tian of fresh vegetables,
- the 8:00 am shoulder of lamb,
- fresh pasta à la vongolé,
- the pan-fried cod back and its leek fondue,
- Sarladaise-style potatoes,
- Savoyard casserole egg,
- the tartiflette in my own way,
- filet mignon with reblochon sauce and Crozets,
- fresh seasonal vegetables simmered aldente,
- leek pie,
- homemade seasonal fruit tarts,
- the homemade chocolate fondant
- and many other things…
But we will not forget the traditional Savoyard evening: raclette or fondue.
Dinner is served between 19:30 and 21:30.
The full board formula (FB)
To the half-board formula is added lunches. The number of breakfasts will correspond to the number of nights.
These lunches will be taken outside our hotel-restaurant because we do not offer lunches at Adray.
We have selected for you partners in Plagne Montalbert, in Montchavin les Coches, in Champagny and of course in La Plagne who will offer you for the delivery of a voucher that we will give you, a daily menu lunch on the slopes . This will allow you to be able to leave in complete freedom for the day.
We will also offer you, for those who wish, the meal basket formula.
For people not staying at Adray, we obviously offer dinner.
We kindly ask you to book in advance. The dinner will be done according to the same formula which is described above (cf. half board). We will offer to choose between 2 starters, 2 dishes and 2 desserts and if despite everything you do not find something you like, the chef will find a solution to satisfy you.
Like the restaurant, it is completely renovated for winter 2013/2014.
Its surface is 65 m2 and it breathes both the warmth of the brushed larch of our mountain forests and the freshness of the blue ice of our high peaks of almost 4000 m that are La Grande Casse and Le Mont Pourri as well as the high ice.
